Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
In this Privacy Policy, "Wujud", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the Wujud service and its operator.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our platform and services.
By using Wujud, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)
- Profile image (optional)
1.2 Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information when you use the platform, including:
- Browser type and version
- Device information
- Operating system
- IP address
- Time zone and language preferences
- Pages visited and features used
- Access dates and times
- Error logs and diagnostic information
1.3 Content Data
We store the content and information you create or upload through the platform, including:
- Social media posts and drafts
- Scheduled publishing data
- Uploaded images, videos, and media files
- Workspace and team settings
- AI-generated content and prompts (if applicable)
1.4 Third-Party Platform Access
When you connect third-party platforms such as social media accounts to Wujud, we may access certain information and permissions authorized by you through their APIs, including:
- Account profile information
- Page, channel, or workspace identifiers
- Publishing permissions
- Media upload permissions
We only access and use the data necessary to provide publishing, scheduling, and related platform functionality.
Some of this data is about other people. If someone comments on a post you published through Wujud, we receive that comment and the commenter's basic profile information so we can show it to you. We only show it inside Wujud. We don't sell it and we don't pass it on.
1.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your login session
- Remember preferences and settings
- Improve platform performance
- Analyze usage patterns and platform activity
You may control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality.
1.6 Google and YouTube Data
When you connect a YouTube channel, Wujud uses the YouTube API Services. That means the YouTube Terms of Service apply to you as well, and Google's own handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Through the YouTube API Services we access:
- Your channel identity: channel ID, name, and thumbnail, so you can choose where to publish
- Permission to upload videos on your behalf
- Metadata and statistics for videos you published through Wujud, such as title, description, privacy status, views, likes, and comments
We use that data for one thing: running the scheduling, publishing, and analytics you asked for. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models. Wujud follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your Google access tokens are stored encrypted. They're deleted when you disconnect the channel or delete your account.
You can revoke our access to your Google account whenever you want. Disconnect the channel in your Wujud settings, or remove Wujud from the Google security settings page.
1.7 Facebook, Instagram, and Threads Data
When you connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account, or a Threads profile, Wujud uses the Meta Platform: Facebook Login and the Graph API for Pages, the Instagram API with Instagram Login, and the Threads API. Your use of those accounts remains subject to the Meta Terms of Service, and Meta's own handling of your data is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
Depending on the permissions you approve, we access:
- Basic profile of the person connecting a Facebook Page (name and Meta user ID), to identify who authorised the connection
- The Pages, Instagram accounts, and Threads profiles you connect: their IDs, names, usernames, and profile pictures, so you can choose where to publish. This includes Pages you manage through a business portfolio.
- Permission to publish posts, photos, and videos to the Pages and accounts you select, and to delete posts you published through Wujud when you ask us to
- Engagement metrics and insights for that content, such as views, likes, comments, shares, saves, reposts, and follower counts, to show you analytics
- Comments and replies on your posts, and the commenter's public name and profile picture, so you can read, reply to, hide, or delete them inside Wujud
- Posts and comments that mention your Instagram account or Threads profile, so you can see and reply to them
- Messages sent to your connected Facebook Page or Instagram account, and the sender's public name and profile picture, so you can read and reply to them in the Wujud Inbox
We use this data only to provide the publishing, scheduling, analytics, comment management, and inbox features you requested. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, we don't use it to train AI models, and we don't share it with anyone except as needed to perform the action you asked for (for example, sending your post to Meta). We comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
Your Meta access tokens are stored encrypted and deleted when you disconnect the account or delete your Wujud account. Insights, comments, and messages fetched from Meta are cached only for as long as Meta's policies allow.
You can revoke our access at any time: disconnect the account in your Wujud settings, or remove Wujud in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, in Instagram under Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, or in Threads under Settings → Account → Website permissions. To delete the data we hold, follow our data deletion instructions.
1.8 Payment Information
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. When you buy a plan, add-on, or credit pack, you pay Paddle directly at checkout, and Paddle collects your card or other payment details, billing address, and tax information. We never see or store your full card number.
Paddle shares with us only what we need to run your account: your name and email, what you bought, the amount, your billing country, and your subscription status. Paddle's own handling of your data is covered by the Paddle Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our services
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Schedule and publish content on connected platforms
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Send service-related notifications and updates
- Provide customer support
- Improve platform functionality and user experience
- Monitor, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, or security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
- Third-party platforms connected by you for publishing purposes
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, invoicing, tax, and refunds for every order
- Trusted infrastructure, hosting, analytics, and monitoring providers
- Service providers assisting in platform operations
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights
All third-party providers are expected to process data securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit using TLS/SSL
- Secure password hashing
- Access controls and authentication systems
- Infrastructure and server security measures
- Monitoring and logging systems
- Periodic security reviews
Access tokens for connected third-party platforms are stored securely and used only for authorized actions requested by you.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
Data from platforms you connect follows that platform's rules, not ours. Some of them require us to delete what we've fetched within a short window, sometimes as little as a day. When that's the case, we delete our copy on schedule and fetch it again from the platform when you open it. So what you see from a connected account is always current, not an archive we keep.
When you delete your account:
- Personal information is deleted or anonymized within 30 days
- Connected third-party accounts are disconnected
- Stored access tokens are revoked or removed where applicable
- Some data may be retained for legal, fraud prevention, tax, or security purposes
Content already published to third-party platforms remains subject to those platforms' own policies.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export the data you gave us, in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for optional processing
- Object to certain processing activities
Exports cover your own content and account data. They don't include other people's information we fetched from a connected platform, because those platforms don't allow us to pass it on.
You may exercise these rights through your account settings or by contacting us.
7. Data Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of your data and account at any time by:
- Using the account deletion feature within the platform (Settings → Account → Delete Account), or
- Contacting us directly at [email protected]
Step-by-step instructions are available on our data deletion page.
Once processed:
- Connected accounts will be disconnected
- Associated access tokens will be deleted
- Personal information and stored content will be permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is legally required
8. Children's Privacy
Wujud is not intended for children under the age required by applicable local laws. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that we have collected information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
9. International Data Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries different from your own jurisdiction.
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to such transfer, storage, and processing.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When material changes are made, we may notify users through email, platform notifications, or other reasonable methods.
The updated version will always include the latest effective date.
