Sharper video without reshooting it

This video upscaler boosts a clip’s resolution with AI, to 720p, 1080p or 4K. Old phone footage, a soft screen recording or a small download comes back with more detail, so it holds up on a big screen.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick the source video

Upload it, paste a link, or choose one from your library or Pexels.

  2. 2

    Choose a target resolution

    720p, 1080p or 4K. 1080p is the default.

  3. 3

    Upscale

Usually 1 to 3 minutes. The card shows source and result, labelled with the new resolution.

What you can make

Creators digging into old footage

Clips shot on an older phone look dated next to new uploads. Bring them up to 1080p before reposting.

YouTubers

Upscale a key clip to 4K so it sits better next to the rest of a high-resolution edit.

Brands with older footage

Older clips and screen recordings are often small and compressed. Clean up footage you own before it goes into an ad.

Event and wedding videographers

Rescue the one shot taken on a guest’s phone when it is the only angle of the moment.

Tips for better results

  • Trim first. You are billed for every second of the source, so cut the clip down to the part you will actually use before upscaling.
  • Match the target to where it ends up. Reels and Shorts are watched on phones, so 1080p is plenty. Save 4K for YouTube and big screens.
  • Upscaling adds detail, it cannot rescue focus. A clip that is badly out of focus will come back larger but still soft.
  • Upscale before you reframe. Cropping to vertical throws away pixels, so starting from a sharper master gives the crop more to work with.
  • Compare on the card before you download. Source and result sit side by side, so you can check the gain was worth it.

Frequently asked questions

What resolutions can I upscale to?

720p, 1080p or 4K. 1080p is selected by default.

Is there a length limit?

There is no fixed maximum, but cost scales with the length of the source, so long videos add up quickly. Trimming first is the easiest saving.

Can I post the result directly?

It lands in your media library. Pick it from there in the post composer.

Is it free?

No. Each run spends AI credits from your Wujud account, billed per second of source video, and higher targets cost more per second. Credits are bought as a pack, and new accounts start with none. The tool needs a paid plan.
